Popular for their psychedelic music notes and rock band attitude, Pink Floyd is viewed as one of the most iconic bands to come out of London. Among the first members of the band are Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Rick Wright, and David Gilmour. The band composed and performed songs that defined the rock band era. Their songs are still popular among rock-enthusiasts and continue to influence contemporary rock artists.
Pink Floyd was formed in 1965 when Syd Barrett joined a collegiate band at the Polytechnic Institute of Architecture of the British Capital. All of the members were then known as The Tea Set. They continued to use the name until later that year when they adopted the name “The Pink Floyd.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dt_default_button link="url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinkfloyd.com%2F|target:_blank" size="medium"]Learn More[/dt_default_button][/vc_column][/vc_row]
