How do I find my embassy while abroad?

Traveling can be a stressful situation, especially in another country. If you are going to another country it is important that you bring your passport so that you may enter and leave as you wish. If your passport should become lost or stolen, this normally disregarded column will take on paramount importance. As a rule of thumb, it is strongly suggested to maintain several photocopies of your passport picture/info front page as it means they can fast-track the processing of your request much faster should this unfortunate situation happen to you.

Fortunately for you, if you have lost your passport or you are in some kind of trouble, there are embassies (and consulates). Embassies located all over the world can provide many helpful services. I’ve noticed for those of utmost urgency, stating that you have a flight the following day can often mean things get expedited immediately (fast-tracked), thus avoiding the delays one normally encounters by standard bureaucratic timeframes.
